Unit One implements NIST encryption standards for data at rest (FIPS 140) and US federal government encryption standards for data in transit (AES 256) with asymmetric key exchange. Traffic between Unit Ones is always End to End Encrypted (E2EE), ensuring that only you and the receiving party can read its contents.
